III Literary Contest "The Cove also reads" IES La Caleta, Cadiz, through its Reading and Library Plan, calls this I II Literary Contest "The Cove also reads" to be governed by the following
BASES
1 .- SCOPE OF THE CALL. This contest all students may participate Secondary Education enrolled in public schools in the province of Cadiz during the current academic year 2009-2010
2 .- RULES. may be attending this exhibition in either of these two modalities.
- literary composition in prose or verse
- Essay or article on a scientific topic, historical or humanistic
3 .- SCOPE AND FORMAT. All papers must be submitted typed and double spaced. The extent of these will be:
- in the form Composition literary prose or verse : to prose, from 1 to 5 pages (maximum 30 lines per page), for poetry, between 30 and 100 verses, divided into one or several poems.
- in test mode or article about a scientific subject, historical or humanistic : 2 to 5 pages (maximum 30 lines per page)
4 .- PRESENTATION. Papers should be submitted in quadruplicate, signed with an alias, not to put on them the author's true name or any other information that can be identified. Be sent in a sealed envelope with no return address to:

Inside the envelope, shall contain a smaller one stating the author's full name, age, the way in which it is registered, the study center where the town of the same and contact numbers, both individuals and the center.
5 .- AWARDS. A jury composed of 3 teachers of IES La Caleta, and chaired by the head of Reading and Library Plan, grant awards to the best works in each mode in each case evaluating the originality and merit of them. Be granted the following awards:
- mode of literary composition in prose or verse : a first prize of 100 euros and a second prize worth 50 euros.
- test mode or article : a first prize of 50 euros.
- Honorable mention, without any monetary award and publication opportunity for all jobs, in the opinion of the jury is qualified.
6 .- TEMA. In line with the educational objectives that are inserted in this notice, provided that the papers presented to it must relate to a general subject fixed in advance by the organizers. The of this issue will be:

reference is understood that this issue is only indicative, and should not in any condition when freedom of approach to the work involved.
7 .- TERMS AND JUDGEMENT. The deadline for entrants will work on 2 March 2010 to April 30 of that year. The jury will meet during the month of May and will issue its ruling before the 31 month. The decision will be communicated to the winners, who will attend, accompanied by a relative or a representative of your institution, the awards ceremony to be convened before the end of this school year.
In case of a tie in the jury's decision, the Chairman thereof may make use of their vote.
If the Jury deems that none of the participants work presents the minimum required quality can make final.
The jury's decision is final.
8 .- After the verdict, no work Winners will be destroyed except those awarded with any of the awards and citations provided in this call, which will be available to the convening Center and may be included in a specific publication, to be released during the year 2010-2011.
9 .- These regulations will be published on the blog "The Cove also reads" (http://elcaletatambienlee.blogspot.com). Any doubts about them may be made in the form of comments attached to the entry of this blog, which will be duly addressed.
